    Project Experience

    Uni of Canberra Public Hospital_Multiplex 2

    University of Canberra Public Hospital

    The University of Canberra Hospital provides capacity for 140 overnight beds, 75 day spaces for admitted patients as well as outpatient services. As a sub-acute facility, it focuses on rehabilitation for mental illness or those recovering from surgery, illness, or injury via gyms, a hydrotherapy pool, kitchens, and rehabilitation courtyards.

    Peninsula Private Complete_Hutchinson Builders

    The redevelopment entailed the expansion and internal works within several areas of the facility to provide further capacity for existing service offerings to the last stage of expansion. This included a new theatre complex for patients to utilise, oncology at the northern end of the building, as well as the addition of further parking to the site.

    In 2019, the Swan Hill District Hospital identified that the current hospital was ageing and unsuitable for its current use. The development of a new emergency department was required to provide safe and sustainable delivery of clinical services to the people of Swan Hill.

    The expansion of Coffs Harbour Health Campus will ensure the demand of a growing population in the NSW Mid North Coast area. The redevelopment includes the expansion and enhancement of existing surgical services and operating theatres, a new short-stay surgical unit, an orthopedic and vascular unit as well as expanded ambulatory and community health services.

    Stage 3 of the Lismore Hospital comprises a major redevelopment of the clinical services blocks as well as community health facilities for the major regional hospital. Due to a constrained and steeply sloping site, the works were staged with the critical Accident and Emergency and imaging areas constructed initially, following decanting of some existing services.
